📍 Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre
Get ready for five days of outdoor adventure! Campers will explore tide pools, mudflats, eelgrass meadows, and beaches, while learning about local wildlife, watersheds, and estuaries. Expect games, crafts, experiments, aquarium encounters, and lots of hands-on fun in nature!👦👧 Small group sizes (max 12) for a safe, engaging experience.

July 7-11: Ages 5-7
July 14-18: Ages 7-9
July 21-25: Ages 5-7
July 28-1: Ages 7-9
Week off Aug 5-8
August 11-15: Ages 7-9
August 18-22: Ages 5-7
Camp Details & Fees
- Fees: $325 + tax per child for five full days.
- Single-Day Option: $65 + tax per day, available only if space permits and subject to health protocols.
Bursaries Available
We offer two bursary options:
- Nature Centre Bursary: Full or partial camp fee coverage.
- Eric Marshall Memorial Bursary: Offered by the Cowichan Valley Naturalists’ Society.

Camp Hours
- Camp Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Drop-off: 8:45 – 9:00 AM
- Pick-up: 3:00 – 3:15 PM
No early drop-off or late pick-up available. Late fees apply.
Additional Info
Campers must be able to eat, dress, and use the washroom independently. For special accommodations, contact admin@cowichanestuary.ca.
How to Register (2025 registration links and registration forms are now accessible) Registration is a two-step process:
- Go to Eventbrite, select a camp, sign up, and make payment. Payment can be made through a credit card on Eventbrite or cash/cheque mailed to or dropped off at the Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre.
- Download and complete a camp Registration/Medical form.
- Return forms at least 1 month prior to camp start date – Email to info@cowichanestuary.ca
IMPORTANT: Your registration is not considered complete until we have received the medical information and waiver forms. Payment and forms must be received at least 2 weeks prior to camp start date, or your registration will be forfeited.
